JUNE 1
- Final date for Teams/Associations wishing to play in Leagues registered outside of Hockey Saskatchewan to apply to the Registration Committee for approval to do so
AUGUST 15
- Final date for teams entering Senior AAA playoffs to post their $2,000 cash bond with Hockey Saskatchewan
SEPTEMBER 1
- A player must establish physical residence in the center prior to September 1st of the current season and continue to reside in said center for the balance of the current season
- Final date for Leagues wishing to allow teams registered outside of Hockey Saskatchewan to participate in their league to apply to the Registration Committee for approval to do so
SEPTEMBER 6
- Registration Deadline, by 5:00 p.m., for U18 AAA teams to register with Hockey Saskatchewan
SEPTEMBER 10-20
- Tryouts for U18 AA and U15 AA can begin on September 10th with a Registration Deadline with Hockey Saskatchewan of September 20th
SEPTEMBER 15
- Final date for all Minor Hockey Associations to complete their local registration
SEPTEMBER 17-27
- Tryouts for U13 AA can begin on September 17th with a Registration Deadline with Hockey Saskatchewan of September 27th
NOVEMBER 1
- Final date for players attending a Hockey Canada School with Residence to take up residence
- Associations may start to apply online to register a Provincial team
- Associations may start to apply online to register a Carded team
NOVEMBER 15
- Final date, by 5:00 p.m., for Associations to apply online to register a Carded team
NOVEMBER 30
- Final date to apply for a concession for Junior, U18 AAA and all AA teams
DECEMBER 1
- Final date by which Junior clubs must reduce their roster to 25 cards
- Final date, by 5:00 p.m., for Associations to apply for Hockey Saskatchewan Provincial Playoffs without penalty fee assessed
- Final date, by 5:00 p.m., for Carded team rosters to be submitted to Hockey Saskatchewan
DECEMBER 1-5
- Male U15 Sask First Regional Camps
DECEMBER 8
- Final date, by 5:00 p.m. for Associations to apply for Hockey Saskatchewan Provincial Playoffs with the penalty fee assessed
DECEMBER 9-11
- First Carded Weekend
DECEMBER 15
- Final date for Provincial play-off trophies to be returned to the Hockey Saskatchewan office
- Final date for Senior AAA teams to inform Hockey Saskatchewan in writing of their affiliated players from the teams in Categories A, B, C or D
- Final date for team officials to be removed from a team roster
- All Female U13 Teams who have entered Provincial Playoffs must return all Provincial Team Registration forms to Hockey Saskatchewan
DECEMBER 20
- All Minor Teams who have entered Provincial Playoffs must return all Provincial Team Registration forms to Hockey Saskatchewan
DECEMBER 21-22
- Male U16/Female U18 Team Saskatchewan Top 20 Canada Games camp
DECEMBER 28-30
- Male U15 Sask First Top 160 Tournament - Regina, SK
DECEMBER 30
- All Senior Teams who have entered Provincial Playoffs must return all Provincial Team Registration forms to Hockey Saskatchewan
2023
JANUARY 10
- Final date for players to be released and be eligible to register with another team
- Final date teams may apply to register for that season
- Final date by which Junior clubs must reduce their roster to 23 cards
- Final date by which additions and deletions can be made to any affiliation list
- Date by which all team officials must have obtained the appropriate coaching credentials as per Hockey Saskatchewan minimum coaching certification guidelines
JANUARY 11
- Final date for a Concession to be filed with the Hockey Saskatchewan Registration Committee for the current year
JANUARY 15
- Final date by which additions and deletions can be made to any Junior team’s affiliation list
